"What more could anyone ask of a game that delivers thousands of intriguing quests, beautiful graphics, a comfortable familiar interface, zombie-robot mages, furry triplet gnomes, a player-friendly cash shop, and your very own spaceship complete with crew? Allods Online deserves its five stars for rendering the quality distinction between pay-to-play and free-to-play almost invisible.

"While the overall theme seems quite familiar, the game definitely stands on its own and does so surprisingly well. The gameplay experience is similar enough to be familiar, but different enough to feel new and enjoyable. The graphics are better than expected, and in some cases, better than WoW, and the overall bottom line is that this game is worthy not only as a free to play game, but as a real contender for the MMORPG giant's playerbase.

"Allods is an excellent F2P MMO that shouldn't be missed by anyone who is looking for a change from WoW or is interested in saving a few bucks and trying something (somewhat) new. I give the game an 8 out of 10, however if originality is something you don't care much about then it deserves even higher.

"Allods Online and Gala-Net have shown a willingness to work with their playerbase and have strived towards putting the best possible product on the table. If we can continue to support the game our patience will be rewarded with amazing content because the team has some killer plans in the works.

"Allods is set in a beautifully drawn world, and the characters are very well drawn too. The graphics in the whole game just gives off a sense of being in the world of Allods, One can spend countless hours "lost" in the world of Allods. The world of allods was crafted using millions of dollars of investment. But it is certainly money well-spent. One key feature of allods is the ability to engage in ship to ship battles in the Astral.

"...The game brings in elements of many other RPG's and MMORPG's to create a very successful mix. The game focuses on a PVE/PVP hybrid where the League and the Empire are in conflict, and you'll experience real integrated PVPPVE the likes we haven't seen since Dark Age of Camelot...

"Speaking of the tutorial, as far as first impressions go, it was a good one...it was a really nice introduction to the world, with interesting quest dialogue and a lot of happenings...The tutorial really did a good job of acclimating me to the controls, interface, and game lore while actually being interesting to play through. Not all titles can say that.

"Finally someone gets it. This is PvP in enormous vehicles manned by players in real time. The ship is steered, the engines powered, the shields maintained, the power core monitored, navigation is manned, cannons controlled, etc., and it's all done by players...Shields eventually drop and players board each other and fight it out, steal treasure, kill crew, destroy the ship, and fight in meaningful, dynamic, and deep PvP...

What happens when gamers get everything we want plus a little bit more innovation and it doesn't cost us a penny at all? gPotato has done exactly that with their long-awaited Allods Online!

"The quests in Siveria are great. There is a story being told within this zone and some of it carries over from the previous zone via the World Mysteries...The atmosphere is nice though. The mobs are fun to kill — they're not all easy. Tigers enrage and will rip you to shreds if you're not careful...

"Allods Online's first attraction has to be the graphic art style... they have their own artistic style that, at least to this player, is attractive. While the world has elves and orcs, it also has flying ships and cannons. There is a definite steampunk influence in this game's art style.
