Greetings! Patch 1.1.04: The Fury of War is expanding on the current guild system to provide an enriching experience for all players within a guild. Come join us as we take you on a personal tour of what to expect from the improved guild system! Let’s start with the basics!

Getting Started:
You can talk to your faction’s Grand Guild Master in your faction’s capital to learn more about the improved guild system. The Grand Guild Masters will talk to you about four features, which we’ll cover later in more detail – prestige, loyalty, increasing your guild’s maximum possible level, and regalia.

The Grand Guild Master sells a new item that needs to be bought just one time by the guild leader that will allow your guild to start gaining levels – the Symbol of Progress! Once your guild leader uses the Symbol of Progress, your guild will become level 1 and guild advancement may commence!

Guild Interface:
To access the guild interface, simply open your Social menu (G) and go to the third tab, Guild List. You’ll see then see four more tabs – General, Members, Rewards, and Allods.

General:

1. Guild’s current level
2. Guild’s maximum possible level
3. Guild’s current prestige/prestige needed to level
4. Reward for leveling up
5. Number of regalias currently available to your guild

*Guild’s current prestige/prestige needed to level:
Prestige indicates the overall standing of your guild and is required to level. It is similar to a player’s experience. Once your guild has collectively earned enough prestige, your guild will level up. Your faction’s Grand Guild Master will give you daily quests to complete starting at level 8 that will reward you with prestige for your guild. Other methods of gaining prestige include participating in Melting Isle & Arena of Death events, the Astral Frontier Confrontation, and defeating bosses in Gorluxor’s Tower.

*Guild’s maximum possible level:
You’ll notice that guilds have a maximum possible level. You will need to make sure your guild’s maximum possible level is at least one level higher than your guild’s current level or your guild will cease gaining any prestige.

How do you increase your guild’s maximum level? Just talk to your faction’s Grand Guild Master and they will allow a member of your guild to pay a fee with in-game gold that will increase the guild’s maximum possible level. You can increase your guild’s maximum possible level as frequently or infrequently as you wish, and could potentially increase it to the maximum of 100 within a span of a few minutes if you have the necessary amount of in-game gold.

Members:

All guild member information has been organized conveniently into one tab. You’ll be able to organize your guild members by name, archetype, level, the right to wear the guild’s regalia, rank, prestige, loyalty, and location.

*Loyalty:
Loyalty is each member’s contribution to the guild’s prosperity. Similar to prestige, loyalty can also be acquired by completing daily quests that are offered by your faction’s Grand Guild Master. By default, guild members start off with 10 loyalty, and can reach a maximum of 100. Having more loyalty will increase the amount of prestige earned by that guild member.

There are two ways for guild members to lose loyalty. First, guild members lose loyalty when a guild member departs the guild, either from being removed or by choice. When this happens, 10% of the loyalty of the player that departs (rounded down) will be removed from each member in the guild. Therefore, if my guild member, Bella, has 43 loyalty and leaves the guild by choice, then each of my guild members, including me, will lose 4 loyalty. Make sure people you invite are… loyal.

Second, your loyalty decreases by 1 every day. Be sure to keep your loyalty high by completing the Grand Guild Master’s daily quests for the good of your guild!

Rewards:

Guilds can reach a maximum of level 100, and there are rewards for the guild at every level!

The top left number represents the required guild level. The bottom right number represents how many regalia of a certain type are available to the guild at that level.

This is the reward for guilds at level 16, and there are thirty-two of them can be given out to guild members:

Allods:
This tab is for the Astral Frontier Auction House! It allows guilds to earn the right to attack an allod in the Astral Frontier by winning the bid for an allod. Only guild leaders and guild officers are allowed to bid on an allod. The battle will be assigned to a certain time at which point the winners of the bid will be allowed to attack the allod, and any owners of the allod will be allowed to defend the allod.

Guild Regalia:
Guild members can now show their pride by roaming around with their guild’s regalia! Regalia becomes available once your guild becomes level 15. At level 15, thirty regalia are available for distribution by the guild leader. To obtain more regalia, your guild needs to level up.

Guild leaders need to grant members the right to wear the guild’s regalia. Once a guild member has the proper permission, they can visit their faction’s Grand Guild Master to purchase a regalia with in-game gold.

In order to create the initial design for the regalia, the guild leader needs to purchase a Heraldic License from the Grand Guild Master with in-game gold.

There are a ton of customization options to design an awesome look for your guild’s regalia!

Field: 15 choices
Border: 7 choices
Tertiary Icon: 36 choices
Secondary Icon: 34 choices
Primary Icon: 66 choices
Primary Color: 42 choices
Secondary Color: 42 choices

Below are some regalia examples through the “Randomize” option.

There you have it, folks! As you can see, the improved guild system is a very involving and unique system. These features exist to encourage guild members to work together for a common goal. It will require dedication, perseverance, and most of all, teamwork to become a renowned force throughout Sarnaut!
