Crystal Chips are useful for upgrading your runes to become more powerful. The Strongboxes have the chance to contain fragments of the pages and chapters of the Study of Perfection, as well as a chance to contain the paragraphs, pages, chapters, or even the completed Study of Perfection itself.
 
The paragraph, page, and chapter can each be turned in once for an additional 10 stat points. The Study of Perfection can be turned in once for an additional 20 stat points.
