Recent patches have made leveling more intuitive with an updated look for the quest log and completely new icons for quests, but that’s not where the improvements end. Our next update, Patch 3.02, will introduce even more features to make the questing experience flow more smoothly than ever before!

Marking a quest as your active quest will give it special marks on the map, in your quest log, and on any items required to complete it to help you recognize and organize the quest’s objectives. Marking a quest as active will help you find it’s location more easily on your map when you are on several quests in the same area.

Selecting a quest as your active quest will also highlight the areas where its required monsters or items can be found in addition to the standard pin that marks the quest’s general location on the map. This makes finding alternative places to complete your quests easier if the area you are in has too many other players trying to complete the same quest.

Automove is a brand new feature for questing that will automatically take your character to a quest’s required location. It can be accessed from the Quest Log or from the World Map while viewing quests. By clicking on a quest you would like to travel to and then selecting Automove your character will begin following a Guiding Clew that quest’s location.

This new tool is a handy alternative to auto-running, as it will navigate for you while you do things like allocate talent and stat points you may have earned, organize your inventory, chat in guild with your friends, or go grab a quick drink.
But don’t leave for too long – you can still be attacked while using the Automove feature and will remain susceptible to Wretch and other abilities that may slow or kill you! Being attacked by monsters will not break Automove’s path, but moving manually or dying will.
Automove is not available while in the Astral, in heroic dungeons, or while in a party, as it is meant to assist with solo gameplay.

Other improvements have been made to make tracking and viewing quests easier. While viewing quests on your World Map you can use all of the actions available in your Quest Log.
The World Map now updates its quest markers each time you complete an objective. Previously, all markers would remain on the map until the quest was entirely completed. Now quests with multiple objectives will appear less cluttered on the map as you progress.

The new World Map also shows your progress in your current zone, displaying how many quests you have completed out of the total available in that area.

Currently, this feature will make a recommendation for which quest in your quest log you should complete next. With the new patch however, Find Quest will not only recommend a quest in your log for you to complete but if you are missing quests or are unsure where you left off in a certain zone it will automatically give you a quest you are missing so you can continue your adventures.
This feature is especially useful for players that have taken a break from questing or opted to skip quests in the past and would like to continue the story, but do not remember the last quest they completed in an area.
We hope you enjoy these changes to the interface and find them helpful while questing in Sarnaut! Please look forward to news on other features that will be added in our next patch for Allods.
