From July 1 to July 14th, the Holiday Committee has organized the Victory Festival for both great nations to celebrate their victories in battle with some food and fun!
Both League and Empire celebrate this holiday by eating with friends at a barbeque, shooting off fireworks at night, and of course… fighting!
Holiday Committee Officials stationed in both Nezebgrad and Novograd offer all the supplies you’ll need to set up a barbeque up and get cooking. For just a few copper you can get that fire started and treat yourself to some delicious kebabs, provided you cook them well!
• Heroic Deeds •
Once a day during the festival, players can complete a quest to receive their factions banner which allows them to mark mobs they kill and gain a stacking buff. Once you have a bunch of Heroic Deed stacks, you can redeem them at the banner in your faction’s capital. The more stacks you have, the better the rewards. Also, reaching 1200 stacks will allow you to receive a large gift after Yasker and Aidenus’ speeches.
• Faction Leader Speeches •
Every four hours, Aidenus and Yasker will give a speech outside of their towers, congratulating them on their hard work. There will be an announcement 15 minutes before the speech to allow players to get ready for it. After the speech, there is a fireworks display and players who have gained 1200 deeds that day will receive a special gift.
• Barbeque! •
Players can also set up barbeques to cook kebabs that will help accumulate Heroic Deeds faster!
For only a few silver, players can purchase all the items they need to start barbequing some kebabs to eat. Barbeque supplies are sold by the festival NPCs at the banner in Novograd and Nezebgrad.
To set up a barbeque you’ll need to buy a barbeque and some firewood. These can be used in Nezebgrad and outside of Novograd, as long as they aren’t too close to other objects or barbeques.
Once the barbeque is set up, you’ll need to use marinated meat to begin cooking your kebabs. Each time you use the barbeque you will gain 1-3 stacks of the “Roasting a Kabob” effect. Once you have accumulated enough stacks of the Roasting a Kabob effect, you will receive an edible kabob.
9 stacks : Raw Kabob : 3 Heroic Deeds per kill
10 stacks : Perfect Kabob : 6 Heroic Deeds per kill
11 stacks : Burned Kabob : 4 Heroic Deeds per kill
If the time runs out and you have under 9 stacks you will receive a Raw Kabob. To make things easier, between each use of the barbeque, you can use Fragrant Spices or Thick Gravy to adjust how many stacks of the Roasting a Kabob effect you have. The spices will add two stacks, and the gravy will remove one. Spices and gravy can be found in the gifts earned from turning in your Heroic Deeds.
You can also share Perfect Kabobs with your friends!
We hope you enjoy this summer holiday and have fun cooking out and enjoying the fireworks with friends!
