Over the next several weeks you’ll see what impacting feature await you in Patch 3.0.5, Autumn Wind! To start off our preview lineup, we’re showing you some user interface changes that will make adventuring throughout Sarnaut even more convenient than before!
• Deposit Box Sorting
Similar to your character’s bag, your deposit box will have options to sort the deposit box by ascending and descending order as well as grouping types of items together. Anyone with a large deposit box knows how much manual movement is required to organize one’s deposit box so this feature will be a major time savor!
• Action Bar Revamped
The action bar containing your spells near the bottom of your interface have been combined and re-ordered to be more user friendly. It’ll be much easier to access your spells on two rows instead of the original setup especially when activating spells through mouse click. This also changes context actions to appear at the top of the action bar to avoid getting clumped together when multiple context actions become present.
• Option to Summon Ship Upon Entering Hangar
As long as your character has an Astral ship, a pop-up window will appear as soon as you enter the Astral hangar to summon the ship. This will help you gear up your ship and get into the Astral that much faster without needing to interact with the Astral Hangar NPC.
• Quest Icon Changes
In the current patch, some quest icons looks similar with color variations. To improve the visuals of quests, some quest types have a new icon representing them whether its a repeatable, important, optional, or dungeon quest. This will help players identify quests as important or optional easier when deciding which quests to prioritize.
Besides improving the visuals of the icons, quest icons in the quest log are becoming more compact that will once again, improve the readability of the quest information – level requirement, quest completion %, and the type of quest.
• Bards Added to Faction Selection Screen
The character creation screen will be updated to include bards as part of the overall archetype portrait. The mural is finally complete!
• Active Effects in Order
Active effects (buffs, debuffs) will appear in their usual part on your interface although they will appear in the following order from left to right:
Important effects, effects lasting <2 minutes, effects lasting >2 minutes, permanent effects.
This will improve party interaction between members to identify certain effects easier especially when checking how much time you have left on particular buffs.
These interface changes will contribute to improve your overall Allods experience to focus less on character maneuvering and more on monster and player killing! More patch previews are in store so keep an eye out for more unveiling content that’s will be blowing in!
