It’s no secret that Sarnaut is a visually stunning world! Over time we’ve seen new unique allods and even changes to existing areas like the beautification of the Imperial capital, Nezebgrad. This time however, we’ll be seeing a new kind of visual improvement – an entire makeover for female Xadaganians!
While the Arisen gift the Empire with their intellect and grace and the orcs boast strength and vigor, Xadaganian women bring all of these things and their own elegance and determination, as well. Wanting to showcase the more elegant side of the Xadaganian race, the developers have graciously provided a gorgeous new model for Xadaganian women, complete with new animations and hairstyles!

Xadaganian women will have a more fluid dance animation.
All of the original faces will still be available as choices after this change goes live in Patch 3.05, however a new option will also be available along with a couple altered hairstyles upon character creation.

New Xadaganian idle animation.
Xadaganian women weren’t the only ones to get a touch-up, though! Previously, equipping a helm would create a rather unflattering visual for female characters in that most, if not all, of their hair would appear flattened and stuffed into their hats. Now, equipping a helm shows a few extra locks of hair to help frame the face and make hats a more attractive accessory for our fashionable fashionistas.
~ Gallant Sweep ~
Players will be able to pick up a quest in Novograd and Nezebgrad, allowing them to take part in a group emote, Gallant Sweep.
Gallant Sweep allows a male character (non-Gibberlings) to pick up a female character that is not a Gibberling. Using the ability on another player will ask their permission to be picked up. Moving or using abilities will cancel the effect. Female players that have completed the quest can request from a male character to be picked up, which will also open a prompt before the emote can happen.
~ Developer Diary ~
As an added bonus, we are proud to bring you a
developer diary about the new Xadaganian female makeover! This dev diary follows Nataliya Zemtsova, an actress on the popular TV show in Russia called “The 80’s”, whom developers used for the motion capture and voice-overs.
We hope you enjoyed this sneak peek at the new features coming to Allods and we look forward to sharing more information on upcoming additions to Patch 3.05 with you in the coming weeks!
