WEAPONSMITH


 

Have you ever been met with incomprehension from other Sarnautians just because they did not understand your passions? Passions for do-it-yourself kind of activities? Have they treated you condescendingly every time they saw you reading mysterious books and trying to improve your knowledge of weapon craft mastery? Have they tried to convince you to give up and focus on warrior training? We are pleased that you haven’t listened to them!

 

Yes, some exciting news is coming! There is no need to keep your talents back anymore. Moreover, we are sure that everyone who used to make fun of you now will beg for your help and assistance. Your craft skills and expertise will be much appreciated! Here is the chance to become a famous weapon smith!

Loads of work awaits you! Weaponsmiths are always in demand: they make swords, spiked clubs, bows and crossbows and even magic wands. But before you get down to crafting weapons, you will have to practice making knives and simple hammers…

 

Use a mobile forge to learn the list of blueprints available and prepare the right components. Then start to gather ores even today – that necessary material (used by black smiths as well) will allow you to perform your craft’s magic! Apart from shiny swords, spears and daggers, you will be able to create beautiful accessories and glyphs.

 

 

You will gain experience for each item you make. When you have gained enough experience, your skill level will increase granting you an access to new blueprints! Although you will have to obtain more advanced blueprints by yourself during your adventures.

 

To craft your weapons, you will have a similar interface similar to Blacksmithing, Leatherworking and Tailoring:

GUILD TREASURY

It was a long journey… After weeks and weeks of bloody and tiring fights, your Guild has finally managed to win the Dominion. Now, you should be able to take a deep breath and relax but… apparently you can’t. Thoughts about weekly fees and administrating that stuff keep robbing you from your well-deserved sleep. Aren’t we right?

 

Again, we have some good news for you. The end of your torment is imminent! No more spending hours with pen and paper on trying to figure out: who, what and how much! With the newest update, all necessary information to calculate the Guild account status and the latest operation logs will appear in a specially designed interface.

 

Even more, you, as a Guild leader, will be able to appoint an assistant who will take over bookkeeping duties off your shoulders. Newly added to the hierarchical Guild system rank, the treasurer will have the same rights as officers plus will take care of:

 
- Announcing fund collections (there are few options to choose from: amount of tax, Guild rank filters, Guild Tabard filter, comment to tax)
- Setting amount of fees
- Tracking those who have contributed and those who have not
- Withdrawing money out of accounts without any restrictions
- Increasing and reducing Guild members’ current debts
- Placing bets on Astral sectors
- Buying Guild levels for gold gathered in Guild Treasury

 

(all the above will apply to a Guild leader as well)

 

 

Guild members will be able to top up the Guild Treasury as well as withdraw money but with certain restrictions. All members should be aware though! All withdrawals will increase their debts. They will be able to reduce it by donating gold. Characters from whom the tax is charged will receive a notification message with detailed information about the status.

 

A new guild rank of Outlawed has been added. It will be assigned automatically to all characters having the Punished status at the moment of the update. The Outlawed characters cannot add money to Guild’s Treasury and have other restrictions of the Punished status. The Punished characters, however, can still add money to the Guild’s account.

Path to Victory: Closer Look at Astral Academy and Open Pier

Allods Online’s Astral is a giant abyss that has expanded its content over time to make exploration endless for adventurers that constantly seek treasure and new expeditions. While tweaks have been made to make the Astral’s introduction more player friendly for newcomers, there is still a lot of information to absorb before one is deserving of a ship driver’s license and can become a full-fledged captain.

 

The Path to Victory will expand its reach of Astral activities but most importantly, establish a tutorial system that gives new cadets some field training on the first steps to forming Astral parties with a push in the right direction. All this extra training will help new players progress faster to get on the same pace as the veterans!

 

Welcome to the Astral Academy!

 

After unlocking access to the Unexplored Astral from completing quests in Irdrich, you will be directed to the new Astral Academy. The Astral Academy is a new zone that is accessed the same way that one would enter the Astral hangar before, from Lightwood and Nezebgrad Port. The Astral Academy has everything you need for your Astral travels – Mercenaries, Postal Worker, Anvil of Artifacts, Portal Keeper and Open Piers (covered later in this preview). You can also access the Astral Hangar as you normally would from the Astral Academy.

 

 

Beginner Quest Benefits

 

Looking for a balanced group can be tasking for new players that step foot in the Astral for the first time. Fortunately there will be new quests in the Astral Academy that are available through the Mercenary Leader to help get you started in the Astral with ready-to-fight groups. These groups will consist of other players and/or mercenaries.

 

It is still possible to form groups by yelling one’s lungs out over zone chat although you will miss out on amazing benefits by not forming a group through the Astral Academy!

 

• Mercenaries to fill party slots are available for free

• All looted gear will be of rare quality

• Double the amount of looted gear than conventional sectors

• Treasure chests can be opened on the spot

• Players can only be kicked from the group through unanimous vote

 

Please know the beginner quest benefits will apply to the first 20 allods to give you a head start before advancing to the next stage of the Astral. Make sure you have Astral Keys handy!

 

 

Auto Group Finder

 

Joining a party is an easy process although there are some slight differences that you should be aware of when doing so at the Astral Academy.

 

• First, talk to the Mercenary Leader at the Astral Academy and accept the beginner quest

• Select which role you want to fulfill – tank, medic, fighter. Keep in mind you will only be able to select a role that is suitable for your archetype. This means you won’t be able to be a warrior that is the team’s dedicated medic!

• You will receive a “Waiting” buff that will automatically form the party every half hour on the hour (i.e. 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, 13:00, 13:30, etc.). The system will see which role that players have signed up for and will form players together in parties every half hour.  Any gaps in group roles will be filled with mercenaries that will join you without paying the mercenary fee.

• Make sure you do not leave the Astral Academy once you have signed up for a group role or you will lose the “Waiting” buff. However, you can always re-visit the Mercenary Leader and sign up for an Astral party before groups are automatically formed every half hour.

• At the half hour, you will be teleported to an Astral allod in the Unexplored Astral along with your party on one of the mercenaries’ ships.

 

 

Above and Beyond!

 

After completing the beginner quest’s 20 Astral allod requirement, you will advance to the Unexplored Stormy Astral to practice seeking out specific equipment, and manually fly to the allod in the appropriate sector.

 

Similar mechanics will apply during the beginner quest although you will also need to choose which equipment you want. This will add another element that the Auto Group Finder needs to process in order to pair up players that seek the same type of equipment. Also as a bonus, usage of the Astrolabe will not consume any teleport charges for the first allod each time the Auto Group Finder feature is used.

 

Even if you are not completely new to the Astral, there will still be global changes that will benefit all Astral travelers!

 

• Astral Maps will unlock Unexplored Astral sectors at an increased rate

• Unexplored Astral will now start with 14 sectors unlocked instead of 3 sectors. Additionally, Mysterious Astral will start with 10 sectors unlocked

 

All of these changes are designed to help players get acquainted with the Astral and help them get up to speed. Before we know it, all our up-and-coming recruits will be soaring up the path to victory!

 

 

Open Piers

 

Another phenomenal feature that will expand Astral content to new heights is the introduction of open piers! There will be five open piers per faction, where special captains can dock their ship at the Astral Academy for everyone to admire!

 

There are some unique perks to having one’s Astral ship docked at one of the open piers:

 

Voyages – Tour select zones from the comfort of your ship while gazing at the wonders of Sarnaut. Be sure to wave at all the players below as they wave back at you!

Public Tags – Your Astral ship will be tagged with your character’s name and guild name so everyone will know who that glamorous ship belongs to!

Free Repairs – The ship will be fully repaired every time the ship is summoned to the pier!

Summon Group – With a push of a button, teleport your group instantly to your ship so you can start your travels swiftly!

24/7 Security – Your ship will remain docked on the pier even when you are offline. Watchman patrol and guard your ship with no breaks. Talk about quality service!

 

 

Astral Academy Auction


With all the great benefits that come from having an open pier, one has to first bid and win the auction in order to gain access to one of the five open piers.

 

 

Bidding takes place at the same auction house used to bid on your essential items. Once bidding ends, the five winners will enjoy open pier benefits until the rest of the month. Once the bidding process has been completed, the open pier passes will be mailed to the winning character’s mailbox where they can activate the pass to gain access to the open pier.

 

 

With so many changes coming to enhance your Astral experience, expect to see the Astral bustle with a fleet of ships to infinity and beyond! Stay tuned for more exciting features to come with the Path to Victory!

[Event] Pimp My Build – Lords of Destiny Edition!

Lords of Destiny has opened up fresh adventures across all of Sarnaut as our heroes wage epic battles in the new territories and Astral islands! With fresh faces joining the war against and enemy factions and the gods, we would like to introduce you to the grand event, Pimp My Build!
 
Leveling your character is a special experience, and through the changes brought by the updates, players might feel a little disorientated. Fantastic improvements have been made to the classes with the introduction of new spells. The best way to explore the full potential for your class, whether you’re a new or old player, is by sharing information and helping out friends. This is also the most fun way to learn and for that reason, we are hosting this special event!
 
Without further adieu, we bring the community together to announce “Pimp my Build – Lords of Destiny Edition!”
 
Rules:
 
1) Go to the Official Forum – Archetypes section and find your character’s class.
2) Introduce yourself; your character’s name; guild; the role you have in the party; and why you like the class’ gameplay.
3) Explain the changes brought by the latest updates; how it modified your build; and how did you adapt the changes to your style.
4) Your build: What type of build is it (PVE, PVP, Raid, Hybrid, which specialization). Also, what spells and rubies you chose and why.
5) How do you play your class now, what you like & dislike like about it.
6) Players can post only one guide for each class
 
For a few tips on how you should approach this contest, simply think of what you would look for in a guide to your class if you were a completely new player to Allods Online. Be clear and use language that is understandable; make it stand out from the crowd as best you can (think of layout and including images); give all the information you think is necessary (especially how the class has changed recently) and, of course, originality always goes a long way with our jury!
 

This event will officially start today, March 15th, and will finish on March, 27th (included).
 
After this date the Allods Online team will put together scorecards for our Player Run Judging Panels and they will each individually score every build for the class they are marking. This will allow us to gather average scores for each entry! To provide you with a little extra boost for this event we’re also going to give away these fantastic prizes:

1st – 5,000 Premium Crystals
2nd – 4,000 Premium Crystals
3rd – 3,500 Premium Crystals

*3 winners per archetype*

Remember that you can only get certain exclusive mounts with Premium Crystals, but keep in mind that when you do use Premium Crystals in the Item Shop that those items become character bound, so be sure to know which of your fearless fighters you want to have the items on before using them!

Our latest epic expansion is now live on our servers! Discover: Lords of Destiny, the biggest update of Allods Online!
 
We hope you got your level 51 character ready to visit the amazing landscapes of the Tekyans land, reveal the real Irdrich, or just say “Hi” to Tep, your nemesis! It will be the occasion to learn new spells for your character, equip Glyphs to improve your gear, navigate on the endless Astral seas to take on the new bosses on the Astral allods, or just confront other guilds in the Dominion system! See all our publications in our special topic to know more about it!
 
You can consult the Patch Notes on our forum if you desire to know more about the content of this update, and discuss with your peers about it!
 
But Lords of Destiny isn’t all about new content and cute little characters! We will launch the beloved Pimp My Build event (will be posted later this week) to help newcomers and veterans alike to know more about their class, how to play around the spells, and show off your builds too!
 
We opened a Lords of Destiny Feedback Thread on our official forums, with another thread for you to report the bugs you may encounter.

Lords of Destiny – A Closer Look at The Dominion Wars!

Today we would like to invite you to the last edition of our “A Closer Look…” guides! By now you know all about the new zones and had a taste of the dark secrets you will discover. You’ve learned about a new race, the Tekyans, and had a peek at the new raids where you will be able to make good use of the raised level cap and new class skills.
 
Regardless of the paths you have chosen so far and the paths you will choose in the future, you all have one common aim to achieve… perfection. The inhabitants of the planet once destroyed by the Cataclysm have already become powerful enough to challenge the gods themselves.
 
Exploring the distant Astral, obtaining the most powerful weapons, conquering the most dangerous allods, and making the most powerful enemies vanish – this is the true destiny for heroes of Sarnaut. They fight for Amalgam and Realgar, not even stopping to think whether the opponent is a friend or an enemy! Confrontation lasts to the very end while annihilating all the obstacles until reaching total domination.
 
With our next update, “Lords of Destiny”, the battles will become even more spectacular. The guilds had a taste for power when they gained control of single allods and now nothing will stop them from conquering whole sectors…not even the astral demons!
 
Prepare for countless Dominion Wars! Battles that will allow the guilds to become true leaders of the Astral and gain precious resources. This will grant you to obtain and upgrade glyphs necessary to make your equipment even better.
 
Dominion is a place for the mightiest – the ones who gained level 55 and gained access to the skirmish by obtaining the necessary keys.
 

You can join the fight in the Skirmish menu (ctrl+M)

Join the battle either as a lonely hero or in a group of up to 6 players. Your group leader will simply have to join the queue on behalf of the group.
 
Although the war itself is relaxed with rules, there are a few rules you will have to learn:
 
Every skirmish has two rounds, each of which lasts 10 minutes. In the first round, one group becomes the defender, and the other group takes up the role of the attacker. In the second round, the roles of the groups will be swapped.
 
To achieve victory you have to head towards the flags, and if your forces are greater in number than the enemy’s, you will begin taking over the checkpoint. Once the checkpoint is conquered, it cannot be won back. Every time a flag is conquered, the duration of the round is increased by 2 minutes. However, the second round cannot be longer than the first one. The final victory will be granted to the group that conquered most of the strategic points in the least amount of time, thus gaining the higher final score.
 
The fight for domination requires extraordinary resources to ensure the victory. You can find them in the wild corners of the Astral, where you will discover your allies. Anyone who manages to tame them will gain faithful friends ready to fight by your side.
 
Allies work similar to Mercenaries, although you don’t need a pouch full of gold to gain their support in Dominion Wars. You can have up to three of them and they will have various abilities.
 
Types of Allies:

Falconet – a trusted ally. A battle golem able to cast powerful spells on a single target and also dealing AoE damage.
 

Idalene – an ally casting spells on a single target. The mistress of curses.
 

Pimen – an invaluable helper. The forestfolk healer specializes in healing your allies.
 

Ahella – a fierce warrioress. This harpy will engage in combat with a single target or a group of enemies with her powerful melee attacks.
 

Simurg – an aviak-sniper fighting from a distance, just like a seasoned scout.
 

Urso – a powerful werebear. A perfect defender who can interrupt enemy attacks.
 

There can be 3 allies summoned at the same time within a group, and each of them has to be a different type. Just like their owners, these creatures can upgrade their abilities and change their appearance through special items you can loot from Astral bosses.
 
But nothing encourages people to join a battle more than the promise of gaining something valuable. Just think of the League’s invasion on Kirah when they learned that the place was filled with meteorite iron that can protect anything from the destructive powers of the Astral.
 
With Lords of Destiny the race for resources will start. Only with them you will be able to gain control over whole sectors of the Mysterious Astral. Forget about the Astral Confrontation. Now each day will become a fierce battle for domination and each hero in the guild will become important.
 
Leaders and officers will take up the role of tacticians again, but this time, the scale will be bigger. A military drill in the guild will be necessary to ensure a quick expansion in the sectors. Gaining Mightiness will become essential as it will enable defense of the controlled sectors and the capability to conquer new ones. This will depend on two factors:
 
-Stature, gained for adventuring on the astral allods.
 
-Fame, gained as a reward for successful battles with other players during the Dominion Wars.
 
Gathering both of the resources will raise the Mightiness of the guild, which enables you to gain control in the chosen sectors. Sometimes the control of the sector will be decided in the battle of champions.
 

The more sectors a guild controls, the larger the choice of glyphs available for its members. The guilds controlling neighbouring sectors or even whole segments of sectors will gain the most.
 
So all you have to do is find a nice, quiet corner somewhere in Dominion and reap the rewards. But stay alert, because this area might surprise you. As time passes and some requirements are met, some sectors may evolve into more prosperous ones attracting attention of the more powerful guilds. And they won’t be willing to negotiate with you.
 
The path to total domination is long and it hides many secrets requiring the best strategies and a lot of effort, but the rewards will be worth it.
 
We don’t want to reveal all of our cards just yet, but get ready for extremely dynamic battles, guild plotting, and whole weeks filled with excitement.

Lords of Destiny – A Closer Look at The Glyphs!

Welcome to our latest edition of A Closer look at, which will bring the spotlight on the mysterious Glyphs in Lords of Destiny! After you’ve discovered the new zones, a completely new race Tekyans, latest spells for your class and learned about changes in Astral, let us focus on the unique Glyphs system.
 
Some of you might be amazed by a picturesque landscape of Tekyatl but surely each character thinks about the future improvement of their equipment. The wind of changes is blowing through Sarnaut and it’s about time to discover what new possibilities are awaiting for you.
 
“Those who speak of progression but are afraid of change are unable to reach any further than their eyes can see.”
 
Deeper layers of Astral will be now available for explorers and those hide some mysterious stones. They are called “Glyphs” and they are rare and extremely precious things. The have magic inside, and can make you the mightiest, the bravest and luckiest hero ever, but only if you insert them into your weapon or armor! Like with all treasures, finding a glyph is a real challenge!
 
Luckily, you won’t have to look too far for your first encounter with this ancient artifact. In the astral port of your capital, and in the Citadel on the Isle of Revelation, you will find a Lapidarist. Former servant of the Lord, the Master of Glyphs. Once a week, he can give a hero a simple job; when done the character will be able to buy astral glyph boxes, that hold Glyphs of varying quality.
 

Ssssh! I’ll tell you a secret…

Once you found the glyphs they can then be inlaid in the equipment, provided that the item is not below level 51 and has the inherent characteristic of the glyph.
 
Features of the glyphs are then added to the characteristics of the object to which they are inlaid. For example, you can’t put the glyph enhancing Stamina to pants (‘legs’ slot), because pants never increase Stamina. Only when all the slots are filled (it can be from 1 to 3 slots), a character will receive bonus points to Armor, Spellpower, Faith, Resistance or DPS values, provided the item has the appropriate attributes.
 
The total amount of bonus depends on the quality of the glyph, but doesn’t depend on the quality or level of the item they are being used for.
 
To make it easier at the beginning, there are two ways to show the stat points coming from glyphs. First, bonus stats points are being summed up with the item’s stat points. Secondly, stat points from the glyphs are shown separately in the tooltip (with visual representation of the glyphs in the slots) if the option “Detailed comparison between items” is turned on in the User Interface.
 
Overall there are 3 types of glyphs that can be inserted into each item: offensive (triangular form), defensive (oval form) and special glyphs (pentagonal); each type has its own special slot.
 
Within those 3 types there is a selection of 10 different glyphs:
 
• Luck
• Intelligence + Strength
• Wisdom + Finesse
• Perception + Expertise
• Agility
• Stamina
• Endurance
• Rage
• Conviction
• Willpower
 
Glyphs of low quality can be acquired for performing tasks, and gathered as trophies from monsters. Glyphs can also be bought from a special NPC from a tribe in a Teykatl camp, but only with a certain amount of reputation:
 
Common glyphs – 10000 reputation required
Uncommon glyphs – 25000 reputation required
 

“There is nothing in the world that some man cannot make a little better”

Glyphs have the very same scale of quality as equipment items do. Most gems can be improved in Forge of Artifacts, again just like an ordinary parts of equipment. In order to upgrade a glyph, one should use special component – Alkahest. They are available for participation in a new battleground, “Dominion”. Only Alkahest of the appropriate quality should be used in the process. They can be of a uncommon, rare, epic and legendary quality.
 
There are few simple rules that one should follow with upgrading the glyphs:
Base and the upgrader should be of the same quality and only 1 agent can be used at a time.
Upgrade is available only for the glyphs with level 55 or higher.
Glyphs of uncommon quality (green) from the boxes could be put into the slots as they are. Glyphs of a higher quality could be used only as upgraders.
 

“If you want something done right, do it yourself”

 
None of the handymen should feel threatened with losing their jobs because of the incoming changes, as glyphs can also be made in process of crafting!
 
Blacksmiths, leatherworkers, and tailors can learn special recipes to create glyphs.
 
Here is the list of glyphs types which could be made by different professions:
 
• Blacksmiths – Glyphs increasing Strength, Intelligence, Finesse, Wisdom and Stamina
• Leatherworkers – Glyphs increasing Finesse, Wisdom, Perception, Expertise and Endurance
• Tailors – Glyphs increasing Strength, Intelligence, Perception, Expertise and Agility
 

Recipes for basic glyphs are obtained by characters at level 53. Also, starting from that level, players will get recipes for rare quality glyphs, and will be able to learn them. Level 55 players can start glyphs upgraders creation.
 
Glyphs created by crafting from recipes are not bound so they could be traded, sent via in-game mails, and added to the Auction House. After activation, it becomes bound, and it could be used: equipped if it is a base glyph or used as an upgrader if it’s an upgrader.
 
We hope you are intrigued by the new system of character’s development. It not only infuses the progress system with new blood, but also opens more ways of modifications on your future perfect build. These new glyphs aren’t the only big changes we have in store within the new expansion.

Welcome to a new edition of the “A Closer Look…” guides! After having discovered the new territories for your class, it is time to test them on the field!
 
As you surely remember, the adventures in the Crystal Palace have brought us one step closer to the truth about Tep. But the horror unleashed will make Dead City appear like a fun fair for young Gibberlings!
 
You have learned that nothing is what it seems and that revealing the lies can be painful and risky. Nothing might prepare you for the horror you are about to witness, not even the Dead King. But it is your duty to face it and to prevent Sarnaut from drowning into the horror of Tep’s lies.
 
Today we will present to you what probably is the most awaited feature brought by Lords Of Destiny. You will need to unveil the true face of the idyllic world of Pearl Ring. You will have to defeat the illusion inside the Crystal Palace and be willing to jump into the worst nightmare every Sarnautian can think of, Tep’s foolishness.
 
We won’t tell you how to do it, you will have to discover it by yourself, and rest assured it won’t be an easy task!
 

 
First of all, you will have to make your way to the Pyramid, that is guarded by Tep’s loyal cultists and by mechanoids. When you reach the entrance, you will be welcomed by the fierce Pyramid Keepers, that are willing to do anything to protect their master, Tep. He promises his accolites eternal life, then he exploits their Sparks as a fee. But the neophytes agree, for they have been promised much more. Finally, the newbie is sent recruiting other wretched souls. If you enlist another fool into the cult, you get a sip of his life. If you violate the rules, you pay with your own. That’s how the system works. Some manage to accumulate a certain amount of other Sparks’ light to make up for their losses and maintain a semblance of human existence. Those who are unlucky roam the ruins of Tep’s kingdom with their Sparks faded. Those are the enemies you will have to face: you can understand why they won’t be willing to disappoint their master!
 
As many of you would remember, Tep was a necromancer who spent his existence studying the mystery of life and discovered that the basic component of every living substance is the Spark of Life, which leaves the body when death occurs. He researched a way to trap those Sparks, in order to achieve eternal life for himself. He built a Pyramid to trap all the sparks released by those who died, but the Zems discovered his dark secret and attacked him. They fought a violent battle to the last man, until they finally managed to free the captive sparks. The liberated Sparks rushed back to their old bodies, but they found them rotten. Those new mechanically improved beings rose from their graves and became a new Sarnautian race, the Arisens. But the Pyramid continued to capture the souls, and it managed to take also Tensess’ one.
 
But his Spark was powerful and it didn’t surrender to Tep’s will. The Great Mage summoned some spirits, the Servants of Tensess, to guide the sparks back towards the living: it was the biggest gift he could make to all Sarnautians that have been able to revive from then on.
 
Tep remains a dark shadow lurking over Sarnaut and it will be the duty of the mightiest fighters to fight against this dangerous threat. Once you reveal the true face of Irdrich, you will be able to discover Tep’s hideout: a pyramid-shaped Astral ship, from which he continues to trap and enslave the Sparks.
 
You will need a strong level 55 raid and a good strategy to make your way to the top! Call your best comrades and let’s get inside!
 

 
The first boss you will meet is the Key Keeper. Once you sneak inside the Pyramid, the Key Keeper will leave your party in the trusty hands of his helper, Bouncer, while he seals the entrance to the main hall.
 
After killing him, you will discover that Tep is hiding in the upper part of the Pyramid and that you will have to choose between two ways to reach him: will you try your luck, hmm… will you test your value in the Laboratory or in the Control Center? Choose your fate, but keep in mind that none of them will be easy!
 

 
If you think that Elven engineers are too focused on beauty to be good fighters, your belief will be refuted by the second boss of this raid, Nihil. She used to be known as Cecile de Ardeur before she turned into this mechanical monster. She used to be an ally of Armando de Douceur, before helping Tep creating the Pyramid. She was the creator of Ceasaria, the artificial intelligence controlling the Darkblood Citadel, many of you should remember it. If you don’t, it doesn’t matter, she remembers you: you have defeated her during a quest, she has been punished for this and she won’t forgive you! Now Tep has turned into her into an A.I. and connected her to the Pyramid control mechanism to make a perfect watchdog out of her.
 

 
If you decide to head for the Laboratory, you will find Sihal waiting for you. Don’t worry, he’s waiting for payback time too! This horrible monster will haunt your Sarnautian dreams: he’s half Arisen and half shadow, which makes him a lethal mix of science and magic! Defeating him will finally allow you to put an end to the illusion imprisoning Irdrich.
 

 
If you manage to beat one of them, you can now try to make your way to the top and reach Tep… Don’t think it going to be easy though!
 

The lift is over there, but don’t think it would be easy to reach the upper part of the Pyramid!

We won’t reveal more today… you have to discover it by yourselves! Your faction counts on you, all Sarnaut counts on you! We can’t wait for you to reach the top and share your screenshots and videos with all the community!

Lords of Destiny – A Closer Look at the Crystal Palace!

Hello Sarnautians,
 
Welcome to one of our new guides which showcase the new features of Lords Of Destiny. We have already travelled across the stunning island of the Pearl Ring and met the cute Tequani. At the end of our journey we have spotted a strange building, the Crystal Palace, protected by an invisible barrier. We have left that tropical paradise wondering what’s hidden inside those impenetrable walls.
 
Both Yasker and Aidenus have been informed and they have summoned the Historians because they want to know more about this mystery.
It is time to investigate about the Tequani and the strange Crystal Palace!
 

 
Let’s leave the cold behind and let’s head back to the Pearl Ring, well everybody deserves a bit of sun and pristine waters after all!
 
During our first visit, we have discovered that the Junes arrived in Tequatl and lived side by side with this peaceful people until the Curse hit them. They tried to pass their knowledge to their new friends, but they had soon realised the gap between their cultures was too big. They started to simply live together, with the Junes taking care of the simple needs of the little creatures. When the Curse caused the fall of their civilization, the Junes decided to protect their friends, ensuring the survival of Tequatl.
 
But a dark age started for them: they were alone again and they had to learn again how to take care of themselves, since their protectors were gone. They had to learn from what they had seen from the Ancestors: it was not easy, but their civilization is an ancient one and they adapted and survived. The Junes eventually became gods in their minds.
 
After the fall of the Junes, Tequani’s misery grew bigger and bigger, until also the Jumayo River dried up. It seems that only a few traces of this story remain in their memory, including a few statues. Since it is your duty to investigate, you discover that a crocodile god appeared, bringing back water and life to these people.
 
Something’s wrong in the puzzle… Tequani don’t remember about their history and their gods, all they talk about are those Immortals. Your journey in the Astral was interrupted by a strange anomaly and the scientists of your faction have discovered the existence of a mysterious paradox… Maybe things are not what they seem, but who would be so powerful to create such a rupture in the Astral and to support such paradox? A single name pops in your mind… Tep!
 
There is no time to lose, your faction leader counts on you, and you are a brave soldier: you need to discover more about these “Immortals” worshiped by the Tequani and unravel the mystery of the Crystal Palace, find a way to go through the Veil of Paradox that protects it. If it is Tep who is behind all of this, you need to find a way to undermine his power, quickly!
 
You have finally found a way to break the Veil and to gain access to the Crystal Palace. But it won’t be so easy, you need to defeat the Crystal Guards!
 

 
Welcome to the Crystal Palace! Our developers have created a mighty building, please make yourselves at home and defeat all the enemies!
 
As Swen used to say after discovering Astral travels, “That’s a small step for a Gibberling, one giant leap for Sarnaut”. It will bring you closer to the solution of the paradox you are trapped into, although the truth you will discover won’t be an easy one for the Tekyans… But you have to discover it by yourself, we won’t reveal anything more to you: all we can’t say is that you will look at the stunning Pearl Ring with different eyes!
