Event: Great Guild Challenge!

Tuesday, November 06 2012 - 4:22 PM
by piopico

Guilds are the foundation where our characters thrive in cooperation and competition. Most of the best moments we spend in an MMORPG are with our guild and many connections (some of which last a lifetime) are forged through the actions that take place in the game.

We have a special event that will bring guilds closer together in spirit of cooperation and competition. In this event, guilds must work together to complete 5 out of the 10 challenges listed below. Each challenge is unique and requires different talents to complete. Guilds are filled with many talented individuals so this should be a fun event to show off your guild’s creative side. Be sure to communicate amongst your guild to collectively decide which of the 5 challenges you will complete.

Guild Challenges:
1. Design a Guild Crest
2. Write a Creative Guild-Related Short Story
3. Design a Guild-Related Wallpaper (Must include the guild name and at least 5 of the guild’s members)
4. Shoot a Guild Gameplay Video
5. Create a Guild Recruitment/Advertisement Video or Flier
6. Create a Guild Song or Jingle (Bonus points to guilds who have a guild member provide an audio file or YouTube video of them singing the tune)
7. Create a Recipe for Your Guild’s Favorite Food (Bonus points to guilds who draw the finished dish)
8. Create a Guild-Related Comic
9. Shoot a Creative Guild Video (Machinima, music video… be creative!)
10. Design a 2013 Guild Calendar (Must be designed so that each month displays the correct dates for the month)

Rules:
• All participating guilds in the Great Guild Challenge need to create their own submission forum thread in the Fan Creations section of the forums
• The title of the submission forum thread must follow the following format: [Guild Name] – Great Guild Challenge!
• Each guild is only allowed to complete 5 of the 10 possible challenges, and the entries must be posted in their submission forum thread
• Guilds have until Friday, November 30th at 9 AM PST to complete all the challenges and post their challenges in their submission forum thread
• Besides the 5 challenges, someone from your guild must post a screenshot of your guild’s interface before the deadline so we can confirm the amount of levels and experience your guild has at the end of the event. We’ll need this screenshot when determining how much experience will be awarded to any winning guilds. Therefore, it would be best to post the screenshot as close as possible towards the event deadline (November 30th at 9 AM PST)
• Since this event was hosted in the past, no specific entries can be used if it was posted in the previous Great Guild Challenge. Please review the previous forum event to make sure you are not copying a specific entry that was used before although you are welcome to get ideas from past entries.

Prizes:
The Allods Team will choose their favorite entries and the winning guilds will win bonus guild levels based on their current guild level at the end of the event (November 30th). Below are the bonus guild levels that your guild can win.

Level 50-59 Guild ——– 1 Bonus Guild Level!
Level 40-49 Guild ——– 2 Bonus Guild Levels!
Level 30-39 Guild ——– 4 Bonus Guild Levels!
Level 20-29 Guild ——– 5 Bonus Guild Levels!
Level 10-19 Guild ——– 7 Bonus Guild Levels!
Level 0-10 Guild ——— 10 Bonus Guild Levels!

We understand this event requires a lot of combined effort from multiple individuals. Even if your guild isn’t chosen as one of the winning guilds for this event, your guild will still earn a physical reward. Every guild that completes 5 of the challenges where we can tell that effort was put into the entries will receive some bound Symbols of Glory to the guild leader which can be used to increase your guild’s experience.

What are you waiting for? Communicate with your guild NOW to successfully complete 5 of the challenges by the deadline. Go teamwork!

Guild Spotlight: Redemption!

Saturday, March 31 2012 - 9:00 AM
by piopico

Welcome to the weekly guild spotlight! We interview guild leaders to share information about their guild with the rest of the Allods community. This week’s guild spotlight is with the guild Redemption! We have the guild leader, Skatrzoo, here to tell us about the guild!

Guild: Redemption
Server: Nezeb
Faction: Empire

Please tell us a little history about Redemption.
Redemption is one of the oldest running guilds on the Nezeb server and has pride in being one of the few guilds that has maintained the same name since the first week this game entered open beta. It started out as a leveling guild as most guilds do, but eventually made the transition to endgame as the core group hit the level cap and wanted to experience the rest of the game. Redemption really established themselves as an endgame presence when they became one of only 3 guilds on the Nezeb server to get past Kazul in Gorluxor’s Tower when the level cap was 42. Members have since come and gone, and while only 3 original members remain from the time the guild was founded, the latest generation of members has fire and drive and make Redemption a guild not to be easily trifled with.

What are the people of Redemption like?
The members who make up Redemption are some of the most amazing people you will ever meet. Within Redemption you have people who will make you double over in laughter, those who will help you with almost anything when you ask them, and people who will go out of their way to talk to you and befriend you. But ultimately, Redemption is a family. Members in Redemption will stick together and help each other through times of hardship and burden, liven up your day with compliments of the utmost sincerity, and will make sure you are a part of our family. We truly don’t want to see anyone get left behind or feel unwanted.

What are the goals of Redemption?
Redemption was created as a casual guild but morphed into a semi-casual endgame guild and we have continued to stick to those goals. While we are a little more geared towards competitive endgame than we had anticipated we originally would be, we still attempt to hold that casual atmosphere. Our goals are to make sure that each member of the guild is able to experience as much of the game as they want to or are able to. We also aim to explore the far reaches of the Astral, maintain a good position in Astral Confrontation, complete the end game raids, and perform well in PvP contests and battlegrounds, all while making sure you only do so if you are having fun.?

How would one go about joining Redemption? Are you accepting applications? If so, what are the requirements to join your guild?
Redemption is currently accepting applications, although it is not guaranteed that you will be accepted. To join Redemption you must be at least level 35 or higher. To apply for Redemption you will need to submit an application on our website: r4life.enjin.com.. When submitting an application, it is strongly suggested to fill out all of the information as clearly and completely as possible. We do not judge you on your application alone, as we do like to talk to people personally in game before they are accepted, but your application will most likely be your first impression on us, and first impressions are very important.

What is your favorite past guild moment?
My one single favorite guild moment? I would have to say the first time we downed Kazul in GT before the Kirah patch. Kazul was one of the toughest challenges our guild had to face and it required everyone to trust one another and work together as a team. It required weeks upon weeks of preparation and failure before we were able to kill this boss, but the moment his health hit zero was one of the most satisfying moments I’ve ever had. Being able to hear the shouts of joy and laughter in vent and in guild chat when we killed him was worth all of the work and it ultimately brought us closer as a guild.

What is your guild’s raid progression and how has the experience been for your guild so far?
Everyone in Redemption has been working extremely hard in raid progression these last couple weeks, anticipating the time when we can progress in Dead City. To prepare for Dead City, we have been working on GT as much as a semi-casual guild can possibly do. So far, we have been able to get up to Kazul, and we are only getting better from there. Eventually we do plan on clearing GT entirely and then progressing right towards Dead City. It is only a matter of time and lots of effort.

Are there any running inside jokes amongst your guild members? If so, please share!
In the midst of having a serious discussion with one of my members on vent, Burudoza, while he was driving and using vent on his phone, he suddenly burst out, “Puppy don’t kill it!” followed by a slight swerving sound of the tires, which totally caught me off guard and sent me into a fit of laughter for quite awhile. Needless to say, the conversation was never the same and many of the other people who were listening on vent, including myself, would randomly shout that phrase out in guild chat. There are others, but if we told you, they wouldn’t be inside jokes would they. If you want to learn them, better join up.

If you’re part of a guild and you would like to have your guild in the spotlight, please have your guild leader email us regarding their interest at allods_community@gala-net.com!

Guild Spotlight: Junky!

Sunday, March 25 2012 - 9:00 AM
by piopico

Welcome to the weekly guild spotlight! We interview guild leaders to share information about their guild with the rest of the Allods community. This week’s guild spotlight is with the guild Junky! We have the guild leaders, Skitch and Cyras, here to tell us about the guild!

Guild: Junky
Server: Tensess
Faction: Empire

Please tell us a little history about Junky.
Skitch: I have always liked helping out other players. There are countless nights I have stayed up and helped people with anything from questing to giving a few gold to someone who needs it. I then got together with my friend Cyras. We were both previously in other guilds and were beginning to become unhappy with they way things were going. We then got the idea to form Junky with a few of our friends with the intent to help out every member.

Cyras: We actually started the guild in June 2011. We were barely lvl 35 at that time but we wanted to create a great helpful guild. Of course it didn’t work out because we still had to work on ourselfs so we left the guild in the shadow for almost a year. We came back to it this year with some new friends we made along the road that share the same mentality as us! We are thankful for meeting great people because a guild is not built by one person or two, everyone in the guild is a brick into a strong foundation.

What are the people of Junky like?
Skitch: The people in Junky are friendly, joke around, and are very helpful! I like to make sure the members are helpful and in turn they help others.

Cyras: We are fun because at the end of the day we come from work or school to take a break and relax playing with our friends. We have a lot of stress and drama IRL why bring it into the game so that’s why we try to be fun create games with prizes and just get people involved!

What are the goals of Junky? Also, would you say your guild is casual or focused on endgame content such as hardcore PvP and raiding?
Skitch: My personal goal for this guild is to get all of it’s members to the top level and geared to participate in endgame content such as Astral Confrontation, raid instances, Astral layer 4 and skirmishes. We are a pve and pvp guild.I hope to change the way people view guilds, how they are run and bring people back to what a guild is all about and what they were originally created for!

Cyras: One of our goals is to have a united and helpful guild. Empire side it’s a little unbalanced but I think if we stand united we can achieve a lot so not only we want our guild to strive but we hope we can create a ripple effect in our faction. Our guild is focused on endgame content mostly Raiding but we do some pvp aswell! We try to give our guildies everything that Allods has to offer!

How would one go about joining Junky? Are you accepting applications? If so, what are the requirements to join your guild?
Skitch: If you care to join in the Junky movement, feel free to PM a Senior Officer, myself or any Junky member in game. You can also apply on our website (junkyguild.shivtr.com). We are taking lvl 30 and up at this point (we are pretty flexible on the what lvl you have to be to join).

What is your favorite past guild moment?
Skitch: Every time I help someone pass a quest or get to a new zone or anything else that helps them out is my favorite!

Cyras: One of my favorite moments its a recent one when all the people in the guild at that time had a small little party in Yesker Tower. It was a nice way to have some fun with the guildies without the worries of getting gear or killing a red ring.

How does your guild interact with and affect your faction’s community?
Cyras: One of our mission to say is to give back to our community that helped us get where we are. When we restarted the guild we actually gave out a few gem shards to empire and some elixirs to kinda help them out hopefully in WH. We want our faction to be the best of course. I know we are outnumbered but we can stay strong together because a united faction can overcome anything! One person can create a ripple a guild can create a wave but a whole faction united can create a tsunami.

Skitch: As I’ve said before, I love to help out people. This has always gone on outside of the guild as well. We love to do random things for people in the Empire like giving out random gem shards and throwing in game parties.

How did you decide upon your guild’s regalia and what is the meaning behind it?
Skitch: I wanted something that was different from all of the other regalias I had seen in game. So I went with my 2 favorite colors. To me, the regalia is a symbol of change and power as a whole. As to what it means to others, that’s for them to decide.

Guild Spotlight: Esperanza!

Sunday, March 18 2012 - 2:06 PM
by piopico

Welcome to the weekly guild spotlight! We interview guild leaders to share information about their guild with the rest of the Allods community. This week’s guild spotlight is with the guild Esperanza! We have the guild leader, Miriamel, here to tell us about the guild!

Guild: Esperanza
Server: Nezeb
Faction: League

Please tell us a little history about Esperanza.
I formed Esperanza on March 15, 2011. Honestly though, I was not sure if I could get it off the ground, because at the time, the guild market was over-saturated. I had just left my previous guild, I lost all my friends as a result, and I did not really know what to do or how I was going to get back on my feet again. I almost left the game because of it. As difficult of a time it was though, in hindsight, having to start over was the best thing that could have happened to me. It gave me the opportunity to make something new, something better, something different. It was why I named the guild Esperanza, meaning “hope”, because I wanted there to be a guild that could be a beacon of hope for other players–a light in the darkness. None of our success would have been possible would have happened if I had stagnated in that other guild, and that time really helped me be the player I am today.

Today, a year later, we are one of the most successful guilds in the game. We went from an obscure leveling guild to a tight-knit, well-known, dangerously fun end-game guild. We are always running concurrent A4 guild runs throughout the day, and quite often dominating in Witch’s Hollow and June Catacombs. We merged with Cherry Crush just before the 3.0 patch hit, who have always been good and loyal friends of ours, and we are very happy with how the merge turned out. As a guild we are very proud of what we have accomplished this past year, and we look forward to being better in the future.

What are the people of Esperanza like?
The people in Esperanza are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. At the same time, we can be the most competitive. We are always trying to beat each other’s DPS, single each other out in Witch’s Hollow, or joke around with each other in some way. However, when one of us needs help, whether it is in game or in real life, we are always there to support our family. We are a team of friends who know how to work together and help each other to become more successful.

We ask for a lot out of the people who come to Esperanza. We are constantly pushing ourselves to be better–better players and better people in general. We have a lot of fun growing stronger together and we are always there for one another when one of us is in need.

What are the goals of Esperanza? Also, would you say your guild is casual or focused on endgame content such as hardcore PvP and raiding?
Our goal has always been to become the most successful guild in the game and make sure our guild family is having as much fun as they possibly can when they play. Because of this, we are an end-game guild, and end-game content is a heavy focus of what people come online to do. We like to improve ourselves, both as individuals and as a guild, and some of our proudest moments have been when we have achieved something together. Through our friendship, through the relationships we forge with one another, we conquer. We have been growing stronger, and we will keep becoming more and more successful.

How would one go about joining Esperanza? Are you accepting applications? If so, what are the requirements to join your guild?
We accept applications through our website. Since we are an end-game guild, we typically only accept level 51 players; although, we are somewhat flexible if the potential member is progressing reasonably well in the game.

Esperanza is very selective on who we let into our guild. Candidates have to (among other things) get along with us, be good at the game, be ethical, and have a good reputation. We also typically like to bring them to A4 with us before adding them so we can see how they work on a team, which is very important to us as a guild. We are very careful to make sure that the people who join are not only a good fit for our guild, but can get something out of being a member in return.

What is your favorite past guild moment?
Looking over our guild’s entire history over this past year, the moment I was most proud of was when we captured an allod for the first time. We were severely undermanned and under geared at the time, and to be honest, none of us thought we could do it, including me. We tried anyway, though, and through some tremendous team effort and strong persistence, we managed to capture the allod. Everyone put everything they had into downing the great mage, and after 15 minutes of kiting and attacking, we prevailed. That was the happiest moment in the game for me, seeing us all come together to accomplish something none of us thought we could do.

What is your guild’s raid progression and how has the experience been for your guild so far?
Since after the patch, our main focus in terms of guild raid progression has been getting people geared up for Astral Confrontation and Dead City. It can be a logistical challenge getting as many people into the astral as possible, because there are a number of factors we have to take into account — who has what sectors unlocked, their player skill level, how many tanks/healers we have online, etc. Fortunately, we have a very dedicated and skilled leadership team who have gotten pretty good at coordinating A4. We also have experienced class advisers and a guild website infrastructure that we can use to help coordinate people together and maximize our success.

Are there any running inside jokes amongst your guild members? If so, please share!
When we are out in A4 and a boss starts to get a bit difficult, we will often say “Okay guys, we can’t do this anymore, let’s just go home” as a joke. Or after we down all the bosses on an allod, we’ll say “Guys, I don’t think we can kill any more bosses, let’s just go back.” We have all been in PUG groups that tend to give up too quickly, and we are very proud of our guild culture of not giving up. Even in Astral Confrontation, when we are fighting a guild we know is stronger than us, we will keep fighting until we are kicked out. We do not give up easily.

Guild Spotlight: Fortitude!

Monday, November 07 2011 - 7:05 AM
by shockpix

This week’s guild spotlight is with the guild Fortitude! We have the guild leader, Volarin, here to tell us more about the guild.

Guild: Fortitude
Server: Nezeb
Faction: League

Can you give us a little history about Fortitude?
Fortitude has recently been created as of October 31, 2011. I have been wanting to create a guild for quite a while now, and I just asked myself “What am I waiting for?!” So, I just logged into the game, made a group with other players, and thus Fortitude was created!

What are the people of Fortitude like?
Well, Fortitude has a relatively low population at the moment, but the players in Fortitude are incredibly helpful and fun to talk with. We all click very well together, and we all want the same goals from playing Allods Online. Everyone in Fortitude is so keen on helping one another, and wants to contribute as much as they can. We all love to have a chat with each other, and just have some fun. We all try to make each other laugh, and increase the joy of playing Allods Online.

What are the goals of Fortitude?
The goals of Fortitude is to increase into an end-game guild. I decided to create Fortitude earlier on to increase the unity and friendships of players when we reach end-game. We want to be successful in Astral Confrontation, Astral, Gorluxor’s Tower, Melting Isles, June Catacombs, etc! We all want to morph from the tiny guild we are now, to a grand and a successfully united end-game guild, actively obtaining set goals. We want to fully experience the joy of Allods, with the company of friendly and cheerful players.

How would one go about joining Fortitude?
Well, I would indeed encourage you to go to our guild’s website, which is http://fortitudeallods.shivtr.com/ and read the guild info and rules. I would then suggest for you to send in an application, or just message me in-game. We are not exactly picky at the moment, as its more you can just join if you want. Just message me in-game if you’d like an invite! :)

What do you see in Fortitude’s future in Allods Online?
I can envision Fortitude being a grand, successful, helpful end game guild, with members varying from all across. I can see becoming like a family, and doing everyday in-game content, while supporting and cheering each other on!

Guild Spotlight: Dead Faction!

Sunday, October 16 2011 - 8:31 AM
by shockpix

This week’s guild spotlight is with the guild Dead Faction! We have the guild leader, Beastar, here to tell us more about the guild.

Guild: Dead Faction
Server: Tensess
Faction: League

Can you give us a little history about Dead Faction?
Dead Faction is a guild created few month ago. Since I started to play in April 2010, its was one of my goals to create a guild.
So, I made it with some people that I knew well for a bit. At this moment, we decided our ultimate objective. The ”ultimate objective ” of Dead Faction was (and still) to help new peoples and obtain an Astral ship. Now, we have around 130 members and we are always talking in the chat or partying in Lightwood tavern XD. We’re all happy of what we achieved and we hope to continue our mission.

What are the people of Dead Faction like?
Let’s say, we have every kind of player: high level, PvP, occasional players, hardcore, clown (yeah, some of us are really funny), beginner, every class and every race! We are really opened to all class, races, and levels. That makes us unique. Nobody feel like being in a sea of people, everyone is important.
That’s what we are!

What are the goals of Dead Faction?
As I said, our goal is to obtain an Astral ship (and maybe a fleet of Astral ships!) and help everyone. If someone is level 40 and need a party for a dungeon, we’ll help him or her. If a level 10 wants to understand how the game works, we’ll help him or her. Sometimes (in fact everyday), we like to travel to Holy Land and do what we call ” Imperial Hunting”. Its some kind of PvP against imperial players. Every month, we organize guild events (like parties, Goblinball,) and we’re really happy about it.

How would one go about joining Dead Faction?
None. There’s no criteria. We accept everyone. Every class, race, level, etc. As long as you’re online at least one time every month. Other then that, we’re open to anyone who wants to join.

What do you see in Dead Faction’s future in Allods Online?
I see the whole guild in the most spectacular fleet of Astral ships, having combat and many exploration in the Astral :), making gigantic war in Nezebgrad and Holy land. That how I saw our future, with a lot of enjoyment and happiness (and party ;p ).

If you’re part of a guild and you would like to have your guild in the spotlight, please have your guild leader email us with information about your guild at allods_community@gala-net.com!

Guild Spotlight: Spectral Guards!

Sunday, October 09 2011 - 9:50 AM
by shockpix

This week’s guild spotlight is with the guild Spectral Guards! We have the guild leader, Mazon, here to tell us more about the guild.

Guild: Spectral Guards
Server: Nezeb
Faction: League

Can you give us a little history about Spectral Guards?
Spectral Guards was founded in the early weeks of open beta. I was new to Nezeb League, so what better way to meet new people? Eventually, the guild kind of fizzled and died. However, recently my current guild, Pheonix, was really busy with all its members, and the thought came to me to revive Spectral Guards. I revived it with generous help from the guildies of Pheonix and now we are now one of the most succesful leveling guilds on the League, already sending multiple players on to Pheonix for bright endgame futures.

What are the people of Spectral Guards like?
We have every type of player imaginable: hardcore, casual, quiet, loud, and just about everything else. Its a great community, with a very low level of drama, which I am very happy about. We also have some of the original officers back after breaks, and they only add to a flourishing group of players.

What are the goals of Spectral Guards? Are you a casual PvE guild? Hardcore PvP? Raiding?
Right now we are a purely leveling guild. We work closely with Pheonix and pass on our higher levels to them. In addition, they help recruit for us so its a win-win relationship we are fortunate to have. Right now we are mainly PvE, but a few officers and myself are known to take some people out to AT or Eljune for some good old fashioned PvP ;)

How would one go about joining Spectral Guards? Are you accepting applications? What are your recruiting criteria?
We love for new members to approach us ingame, its more of a personal connection than an interview. Right now our only requirement is that you be below level 30. We don’t restrict based on class, race, level, etc. We want everyone to have a chance at getting in and having a good, solid future in endgame when the time comes. You can ask any member of Spectral Guards or Pheonix and it will get back to our officers in a matter of time.

What do you see in Spectral Guard’s future in Allods Online?
Spectral Guards is a great fresh community, and hopefully we can claim the title of most succesful leveling guild on the League, then on Nezeb, then on all of NA. With our great players, there is no doubt in my mind that we can achieve that and so much more.

Guild Spotlight: ShowMeUrNoobies!

Sunday, September 25 2011 - 9:50 AM
by shockpix

This week’s guild spotlight is with the guild ShowMeUrNoobies! We have the guild leader, Flarrow, here to tell us more about the guild.

Guild: ShowMeUrNoobies
Server: Tensess
Faction: Empire

Can you give us a little history about ShowMeUrNoobies?
Well not many people may know this but I am not the original owner. Noobsnboots was the owner before he passed the leadership to me which I am very thankful for. We are still a baby guild with not a ton of members but just about all of our members are online almost every day. Lots of people comment on the name. It is specifically a joke and not meant to offend anyone.

What are the people of ShowMeUrNoobies like?
ShowMeUrNoobies has a huge variety of people. We have a wide variety of levels and also ages. We have people in the guild over 30, but we also have young teenagers. All members try to help each other when ever possible. Weather its with instances or just with questions about the game itself. Our guild also has members who are brand new to the game and has members who have been playing this game for 2 years. Which it is a great guild for people who are new to the game and need guidance.

What are the goals of ShowMeUrNoobies? Are you a casual PvE guild? Hardcore PvP? Raiding?
Some of the goals of ShowMeUrNoobies is to grow into a successful guild. One of the things that I do encourage a lot is to do your guild quests. Guild quests help the guild which is why they are important. They are easy to do and we even have monthly events that sometimes give rewards to members who do lots of guild quests and keep their loyalty up. These monthly guild events are usually held by Noobsnboots or me, Flarrow. They usually hold gold or item rewards.

At the moment, we are typically a PvE guild. Again, we are still a baby guild and will eventually grow into a PvP guild. As people in the guild level up, the guild levels up, and the number of members grow, it will be easier for things like PvP raids to occur.

How would one go about joining ShowMeUrNoobies? Are you accepting applications? What are your recruiting criteria?
Although we mostly except any request to join, we do have a few standards to join the guild. One is that you have to be kind. Nobody likes to be in a guild filled with jerks. Two is that you must be helpful to all members when ever possible. We don’t want a new player not knowing what to do and feeling like he/she wont get help if they ask. Three is one of my pet peeves, no ganking. That means no ganking Imperials or League. If you want to duel somebody, make sure its a fair fight. Unless its because they ganked someone else. I can not stand when high levels just walk into the arena and start killing lowbies. If you would like a guild invite and you can say yes to these guild standards, pm Flarrow or ask in zone for any seniors. Tell us why you want to join and we will probably let you in. Thanx :)

What do you see in ShowMeUrNoobies’ future in Allods Online?
One thing that i see in our guild is growing into a big guild with lots of people. I want our guild to be know as the guild that everybody wants to be apart of. I would like for the guild to become high level and have lots of friendly members who not just help other members of the guild but help anybody for that matter. I wish the best for all members of Allods and good luck to all. Thank you for reading and we hope that you come see for your self of what a great guild ShowMeUrNoobies is!

Guild Spotlight: Forgotten Legacy!

by shockpix

This week’s guild spotlight is with the guild Forgotten Legacy! We have the guild leader,, here to tell us more about the guild.

Guild: Forgotten Legacy
Server: Nezeb
Faction: Empire

Can you give us a little history about Forgotten Legacy?
Forgotten Legacy has gone through many changes since it’s inception on April 17, 2011. What started as a guild of like-minded players looking to find a forum to communicate has now turned into a guild with end-game aspirations. Over the past few months the members of Forgotten Legacy have had their loyalty and patience tested when the acting guild leader was away for some time, but their perseverance with recruitment and open communication with gpotatoes has allowed them to overcome this obstacle. Gimpsuit was voted in as Guild Leader soon afterwards and Forgotten Legacy began to grow faster than one could imagine. Now with many of the loyal members reaching the last few crucial levels, the future is all in end-game content.

What are the people of Forgotten Legacy like?
The people in Forgotten Legacy are simply put: incredible. Being a guild that has been rebuilt from couples, rl friends, brothers, and sisters, there is a strong sense of community and maturity in the guild. One of Forgotten Legacy’s core competencies of a member is to provide help whenever possible and to act in a mature and fun manner in guild chat. What has resulted from this is a group with no cliques. Everyone is everyones friend and its that sense of community that sets Forgotten Legacy apart from other guilds.

What are the goals of Forgotten Legacy? Are you a casual PvE guild? Hardcore PvP? Raiding?
The goal of Forgotten Legacy has always been to enjoy the game and be a part of a community that enjoys the game. I don’t think it’s possible to really classify Forgotten Legacy as one of these because that’s not what the guild is about. Forgotten Legacy is a dynamic group where PvP, PvE, and raiding all may come into play aslong as it’s what the community wants and ejoys doing. Currently we have had over 30 members nearing level 45 and thus end-game content has become a priority for us. However this does not mean that we will abandon all forms of PvP achieve this.

How would one go about joining Forgotten Legacy? Are you accepting applications? What are your recruiting criteria?
Forgotten Legacy is always looking to recruit great people. It is great people that make a great guild and the more people we can have active the more vibrant, diverse and fun guild chat becomes. Thus to join, all you need to do is speak with the Gimpsuit or one of the Senior Officers and have a chat with them to see we’re a right fit for eachother. The average level of our members is continuously increasing. Since we want to foster a community that plays and levels together, we are currently accepting applications from characters Level 30 and higher.

Guild Leader:

What do you see in Forgotten Legacy’s future in Allods Online?
Well with Forgotten Legacy being such a dynamic guild, there really is no saying what the future is. At this point in time it is astral layer 2 and possibly the 1st Isle of Confrontation. Afterwards it could shift to PvP or astral layer 3. All that can be guaranteed for the future is that we will be doing it all together, no stragglers left behind.
