Prophetic Cards have returned!
 
Prophetic Cards have once again started appearing all over Sarnaut! These cards can drop from all kinds of creatures, allow players to discover new prizes upon deciphering them using the Ancient Compasses found in the Item Shop! Like the last time these Prophetic Cards are offering brand new mounts, only this time they’re ponies!
 
These ponies are Rank 4 mounts that move at 11.38 yards/sec with a 1.2 second cast at the maximum level 11.
 
Shorter in stature than other equines players can find and purchase, these ponies offer a unique physique that is different than the existing horses in Sarnaut. For that reason, they cannot share color patterns currently available to other horses, but they do share patterns with other ponies from this Prophetic Card.
 
 

 

 

 

 
Mounts aren’t the only new prizes this card has to offer – there are also a variety of vanity items available as well!
 
Prophetic Cards will only be dropping from monsters from Friday, Sept 14th through Monday, Sept 17th. The Ancient Compasses required to decipher them will be available in the Item Shop for longer to allow existing cards to be used, so be sure to use your cards before the compasses are gone!

A Box of Gem Shards costs 100 gPotatoes and rewards no less than 100 Gem Shards – you’ll definitely be getting your gPot’s worth! What’s appealing about the Box of Gem Shards is that if it is opened during the Box of Gem Shards event, which will be running through the sale and for a while after, is that it can reward more than what you spent in the form of Premium Crystals.
 

 
Each box can be opened 10 times, each time it is opened you will receive 10 of your 100 guaranteed Gem Shards and a chance to receive 1-5 extra, or even the 10,000 Premium Crystal prize!
 
If you are lucky enough to receive the 10,000 Premium Crystal prize, the rest of the charges on that box will be consumed.
 
Please know the cooldown timer is 24 hours each time the Box of Gem Shards is activated before the Box of Gem Shards can be activated again.

For September, we are going to give out the Rebel Mask! This mask is equipped in the Vanity Helm slot and will change the appearance of any helm armor you have equipped.

Upgrading your gear can take a lot of amalgam, but now there is a way to make the Impure Amalgam you’ve collected go farther.
 
When purifying Amalgam, you can now use a catalyst from the Item Shop to produce more than you normally would.
 
Strong Catalyst – Uses 1 Impure Amalgam and 2 solvents. Creates 2x Amalgam for a total of 6.
Concentrated Catalyst – Uses 1 Impure Amalgam and 5 solvents. Creates 5x Amalgam for a total of 15.
 
These catalysts can be found in the Services > Upgrades section of the Item Shop.
 
Also available is a Scroll of Oblivion, allowing you to change 1 character’s name. The scroll is consumed upon use and cannot be traded to other players. Please know that if your name was changed due to the server merge and you would like your old one, please see this thread for details on how to request a one-time free change from our support team.

 
 
Ever wanted to take a different approach to fashion and don an outfit that didn’t have the bright and loud colors of Gibberling fabrics or the war-torn, dusty threads of the orc clans? These new vanity costumes bring the elegance and design of the ancient Zem culture to life!
 
For a limited time two new vanity outfits are available in the Item Shop, allowing all races to walk around with the style and grace of the Zem people.
 
Vanity items provide no stat bonuses or combat advantages and are worn in special equipment slots at the bottom of the character window. While equipped, they will mask the appearance of your current armor and you will appear to be wearing the vanity’s look instead. They can be used by any character and do not bind once equipped.

A new mount has changed what was previously known as the Cavalry’s Strongbox. This new Overlord’s Strongbox still has those handy mount spells, but also contains the chance to find a powerful Overlord’s Aegis mount!
 
 

~ Mount Spells ~

 
This strongbox can contain one of 4 different spells that can be used while riding any mount. Most boxes will contain fragments of these spells which can be turned into a scroll that will begin your quest to learn one of the following spells, though some boxes will contain the scrolls themselves:
 
Gallop – Increases your mounted movement speed for 12 seconds. Learned from the Lesser Scroll of the Commander.
 
Veil of Speed – Makes you and your mount invisible for 6 seconds. Learned from the Greater Scroll of the Commander.
 
Strategic Advantage - Restores 2% health/mana while mounted. Learned from the Enchanted Scroll of the Commander.
 
Tactical Advantage – Reduces your mount cast time by 20%. Learned from the Major Scroll of the Commander.
 
 

~ Overlord’s Aegis Mount ~

 
 

 
 
The Overlord’s Aegis is a new Rank 4 mount that has its own set of combat abilities to help cut down your enemies with one of three powerful beam attacks. At level 11, the Aegis moves at 12.02 yards per second and has a 1.2 second cast time.
 
 
Recharge – Consume a Mana Battery to gain up to 60 Energy Charges. These charges are required to use the Aegis’ attacks.
 
Beam of Fire – A channeled attack that deals damage to the target and reduces its healing received by up to 50%. Consumes 5 Energy Charges.
 
Beam of Ice – A channeled attack that deals damage to the target and reduces its movement speed by up to 75%, or 50% for mounted targets. Consumes 5 Energy Charges.
 
Beam of Electricity – A channeled attack that deals damage to the target and reduces its damage output by up to 50%.
 
Speed Boost – The Aegis gains a burst of speed, increasing its movement speed by 50% for 10 seconds.

The Overlord’s Strongbox also contains Collector’s Coins that can be redeemed at the Goblin Banker’s D-2 Golem for additional prizes.
 
We’re also offering additional strongboxes for larger purchases! Buying 5 Overlord’s Strongboxes will get you an additional strongbox, and buying 10 Overlord’s Strongboxes will get you 3 additional strongboxes.
 
In addition to bonus strongboxes, each night the player who has opened the most strongboxes that day will receive a Stormrider mount, and runner-up players will receive Crystal Chips or gold! There will also be a lottery running. Each box opened adds to the jackpot, and each box opened also has a chance to win that jackpot. Once the jackpot has been won it will begin growing again for other players to have a chance at winning gold.
