Mysterious characters have started to appear in town. They rival with the cuteness of Gibberlings with their sweet appearance; they spread serenity and love to whoever comes to them for advice or just curiosity! The Historians are more than puzzled about the origins of these characters, their real goal, or even why they appeared straight in the middle of February! It must be a secret plan of Nihaz! Using attractive women to lure his enemies to be the slave of their feelings unless there is a better explanation of the situation. It is… the Love Festival!
 
Nihaz wasn’t the instigator of this new event though. It was indeed Yasker and Aidenus who were worried about the morose mood of their troops and took matter in their hands!
 
From the 14th until the 28th of February, take part in the Love Festival and share your feelings to the world!
 
From the 14th of February, Sarnautians will welcome the exquisite Lubava Charova in front of Aidenus Tower in Novograd, and Lyubov Serdechkina in the Old Square in Nezebgrad! Beside making the male (or even female) gender drool with admiration, they will be in charge of restoring the loving mood in the hearts of League and Empire soldiers! If you were in search of a partner to share your raid stories with or want to rekindle your relationship with your spouse, it will be the perfect opportunity to talk to the ladies!

On your first meeting with the NPC, you will be given a special task which will be the first step into finding the perfect one for your lone soul! Once you’ve learn their teachings and practice your aiming at striking through your enemies’ hearts and possible love interests, you will be free to spread love and heart-break in town with the repeatable quests “Love thy enemy” and “Love thy neighbor”!
 
Be careful though! No one knows how true love will strike! It may happen when you aim at an Elf, a facetious Gibberling, or even a fierce Orc? You will know when the Love Fever will blind you! Don’t fight it; embrace it and find Lubava or Lyubov to receive the item which will be given to your chosen one. Get the “Blind Love” quest and find another character victim of the intense passion!
 

But, love won’t be the only reward thanks to these quests – masks, underwear, and many more items will be filling your bag! If you wanted to spend your Valentine evening with mystery, romanticism, fashion, or even laughs, Lubava and Lyubov will make sure you will never forget the Love Festival!

As you already got the great announcement from last week, we are glad to say that Lords of Destiny is coming very soon to your server!
 
The next expansion will bring tons of new content to discover. As usual, we will show the greatest additions to our MMORPG with our focuses, but we aren’t finished with the great news just yet…
 
Some of you will be invited to help us browse the new content and to join our Lords of Destiny Preview, which will be open from Monday, February 11th until the early morning of Monday, February 25th!
 
The Lords of Destiny Preview will be an amazing way to be the first ones to try out the new features brought by Lords of Destiny. Preview the new content, meet the new NPCs, explore the new areas and, why not, talk about it with your friends!
 
Go check the email address associated with your gPotato account; you might have received our exclusive invitation to join our Lords of Destiny Preview! We will explain how it works in a minute. In the meantime, don’t be sad if you haven’t been selected among our beta-testers. You will still have a sneak peak of new additions with our focuses and you will be able to connect to the Lords of Destiny Preview on select days to take part in our events! When will Lords of Destiny Preview be open?
 
Lords of Destiny Preview will be open from Monday, February 11th, until Monday, February 25th. The opening hours will be the following:
 
Monday – Thursday: 2:00 AM -10:00 AM PST (or 10:00 – 18:00 WET)
Friday – Sunday: all day. The Lords of Destiny Preview will stay open from Friday at 02:00 AM PST all day during the weekend.
 
Only the players who have received the invitation will be able to have fun and join us on the Lords of Destiny Preview from Monday, February 11th until Thursday, February 21. But, from Friday, February 22nd at 10:00 a.m. PST, until its closure on Monday, February 25th at 10:00 a.m. PST, all our players will have the opportunity to access Lords of Destiny Preview and showcase the new content, while playing with the European and North American communities!
 
How to Access Allods Online Lords of Destiny Preview
 
If you have been selected as beta-tester and you want to join us on the Lords of Destiny Preview, you just need to open the invitation email received from gPotato.eu and click on the link contained.
 
You can use your gPotato account to access the server and, once logged, you will find a copy of one of your highest-level characters available on that account. This way, you don’t need to rush through the levels and you can jump straight to the new content!
 
Once in-game, you will have the chance to meet Sarnautians from different communities and have fun with the new activities, talk about the new content with your friends, share exclusive preview pictures and videos! Have we already said have fun? Yes, because there will be amazing lands to explore, new enemies to fight, and great events to explore the new features while receiving rewards!
 
But you will also be beta-testers, helping us spot issues for the greater good of your faction. If you find a bug, you can report it using this forum thread. And feel free to share your experience on our Feedback thread too!

Ahoy Astral Captains!
 
Today we start a journey into the new content coming soon with the next update Allods Online: Lords of Destiny! Welcome to the first preview of many more previews to come leading up to the exciting update!
 
We would like to first introduce a new Sarnautian race, the Tequanis. It is now time to set sail towards their lands and to discover more about this ancient and mysterious people!
 
Your faction leader will send you there on a secret mission, but beware! Astral demons are always lurking in the darkness, waiting for ships to attack! You will be far away from home in the unknown Astral, but don’t worry, it doesn’t happen so often to leave a demon behind and to find a tropical paradise at the end of a wormhole!
 
Deep in the Astral, a forgotten archipelago awaits to be explored. Its name, Pearl Ring, has been lost for centuries and the way to reach it as just been retrieved. It is part of a bigger allod called Irdrih, which is as wide as Holy Land, Eljune and Coba Plateau put together.
 

Welcome to the Jungle!
 
Disembark your ship and, while you are still trying to put all the pieces together, you will start to explore a tropical jungle with stunning landscapes and many different types of wildlife. Be careful though: not all these cute animals will be friendly, many of them are fierce enemies!
 

 
One of the first inhabitants you will have the chance to meet are the Aviaks. At your arrival in the area, you will discover soon that this tropical paradise is shaken by a war between two different factions of Aviaks. When you find yourself alone, far away from home, one of the first things to do is find some allies: fly on the back of the colorful Squawkers to discover the islands while helping your new Aviaks friends!

Pearl Ring is a round reef that encircles an archipelago of xx small islands with a bigger one at its center. After having explored the smaller islands, it is now the time to venture into the main one.

Tekyans are an ancient race, mentioned in the June chronicles that survived the Great Cataclysm and lost for ages when Sarnaut was torn into pieces. But, as Historians always reminds us, sometimes lost things might be recovered!
 

 
Before the Great Cataclysm, the Tequanis, which are furry little creatures and distant relatives of the Gibberlings, used to be a savage people that inhabited the jungle in Irdrich. Due to the remoteness of their land, they had never met other rational beings before.
 
When Irdrich was colonized by the Junes around the 1800 year of the Old Era, those little creatures were impressed by the spells and the abilities of the new comers and soon gained their favors offering them generous gifts. Soon, both races began to live side by side and the colonists turned into patient teachers, trying to pass the Tequani their knowledge and culture. The little creatures lived without concerns and the Junes provided to their needs until the Curse destroyed their civilization and Sarnaut was shattered into pieces.
 
Before meeting their fate, the Junes made sure their furry friends survived, but the Tequani were left on their own and the world forgot about them until now. The Junes became gods in their minds and the Tequani had to put in practice what they had learned from their protectors and take care of themselves.
 

 
They eventually built their civilization and managed to establish their own traditions and school of magic. Today, the Tequani still live in harmony with nature and build their houses under the trees.
 
Do not be fooled by their fluffy appearance though! Although they are kind-hearted and friendly, some of them might be hostile while they protect their settlement. Keep that in mind while taking the path towards their village!
 
The beauty of their land will leave you speechless and ease your homesickness. Explore their village and talk to them and you’ll discover more abou their culture and their secrets. After the fall of June civilization, new gods has replaced the Ancient protectors. Who are those “Immortals”, as Tequanis call them, and what is hidden in their beautiful Crystal Palace?
 

 
The more you will discover about this stunning land, the closer you will get to a bitter revelation: how could such beauty and innocence have been spared by destruction? Maybe there is another side of Irdrich to discover, more to see, but it is not time to unveil it yet…

Each of the Twelve Martyrs are great in their own way as they fill their chosen ones with blessings to help them on their journeys through Sarnaut. We use their protective abilities, they help us regenerate after a long, hard battle and they offer guidance to those who seek it. So let’s celebrate them individually! Each Patron should have their own designated holiday in which their worshipers can benefit of their blessing and offer up even more prayer to the great Martyrs!
 
From the Saturday, February 9th until Saturday, March 9th, all those born under the sign of Plam will celebrate their patron and receive their blessings for 20 days!
 

 
For those of you asleep during history classes in Nezebgrad and Novograd, here’s a brief overview of the Great Martyrs:
 
Men and women on these allods are never alone. They are protected by the blessing of a mysterious set of powers, called the Great Martyrs.
 
Shortly after the Great Cataclysm, the Magi began to notice strange events of the original magic. Although their appearance seemed to coincide with the Astral invasion, their precise nature remained a mystery for many years. While the Astral was known to have a magical influence on Allods and all their inhabitants, 12 special magical auras were discovered, each with unique properties and characteristics.
 
Over the centuries, experiments were conducted on these forces. It was discovered that each inhabitant of Allods could perform a ritual to seek protection from one of these magical auras, but for a long time the nature and origin remain shrouded in mystery.
 

 
So what better way to celebrate a patron than by praying to it extra hard during it’s holiday season? That doesn’t mean we want you to rush out to the Deserted Farm on a one man mission to end up in purgatory for a 24 hour period! We want you to fight with honor and courage, slay as many enemies as possible, and give thanks to Plam afterwards!

It is now time to explain how the Prophetic Cards work for our new recruit, or to have a reminder for our veterans!
 
Let’s start with the basics of the system for our players who joined our adventures with the past Autumn Wind update. From Thursday, February the 7th and lasting until Thursday, February the 14th, players will see a new item dropped by monsters in-game, it is the Prophetic Card of the Golden Opportunity. This item allows players to play a game of chance, to win to some truly amazing prizes!
 
To take part in the action, any player that wishes to use the Prophetic Card needs to obtain an item called an Ancient Compass, which is available from the Item Shop from Thursday, February the 7th until Wednesday, February the 27th. This will allow you to scan the Prophetic Card and see what prizes lay behind them!
 
You will then be given an opportunity of turning over one to four cards and winning the prizes that lay beneath, depending on how many Ancient Compass you have in your bag! Don’t worry if you have some Prophetic Cards left overs after the 14th of February, as you can open them at any time after that date with your Ancient Compass.
 
These can be obtained through gPotato, Gem Shards, and Premium Crystals. Be advised that any Ancient Compass got through Premium Crystals are bound, but if using gPotato or Gem Shards you can trade them!
 
Players should also be aware that prizes won through Prophetic Cards of the Golden Opportunity are bound to the character, so when opening these make sure that you are using it on the appropriate character! Read further below to find out more details about this new mechanic.
 

Prophetic Card of the Golden Opportunity: Contains many prizes. Can be traded to other players. You will be able to gain them from monsters from Thursday, February the 7th and lasting until Thursday, February the 14th.

Stroke of Luck
Those here for the last event may remember that each time you used a prophetic card that a bar below the interface (see the screenshot below) would fill up, and every 60 points accumulated would give you a Stroke of Luck.
 
Once this bar is full your interface will change colour and you will be given a turn at winning one prize from a selection of some of the very best prizes available in this event!

You can see from the Stroke of Luck image above that the prize table has been updated since the last time we ran a Prophetic Card event. This time around we’ve included some new vanity outfits, alongside some of the much sought rank 4 mounts and a brand new steam punk set! Long before the destruction of Sarnaut, new nations emerged after the fall of the Junes civilization. They weren’t united, although they called themselves Aro, or “humans”. Because of their bloody disputes over the dominions, they were losing their best warriors and brought misery upon their peers. This was put to an end when a greater danger loomed over their territory: the Orcs. The human tribes couldn’t resist their invasion on their own, and after countless villages burned to the grounds, only one solution was possible to ensure their survival: the unity of the tribes. The army of Aro over-powered the Orcs into a glorious battle and kick them back into wilderness!
 
This wasn’t the only victory though, as their union led to something more meaningful: a friendship which led to the strongest nation of Sarnaut, the Kanians!

“You’ve heard it right. Inhabitants of Sarnaut have started a fad similar to planking known as “icing”. It appears players are using the Eye of the Frost trinket from the past winter event and freezing themselves in wildly creative poses. Sometimes these players are icing when on a mount or when casting a spell to capture the spell’s blinding effects. We’ve even caught players cold-handed while icing with other players! There’s no real purpose to doing this beyond fun and lots of LOLs!”
Now is your chance to show all of Sarnaut how great of an icer you are!
 

 
From Monday, January 21st until Monday, February 4th, upload your best screenshot of your Allods character icing on the Allods Facebook Fan Page.
 
Icing rules:
 
• Using the Eye of the Frost trinket from the past winter event, make any creative pose with your character and take a screenshot.
• You are welcome to be on a mount; cast a spell; or include other players when activating the Eye of the Frost trinket (icing).

From Thursday, January 17th until Sunday, January 27th, take part in the Warriors’ Celebrations: the Swordring!
 

 
From Friday, Warriors from the Gibberling, Kanian, Xadaganian and Orc nations will be able to discover the festivities of their proud class! These Warriors have always been at the front line in wars, and never turn down an opportunity to engage in tough training to stay on top of their art! Although laziness and weakness is an enemy of these soldiers, there is one day allowed to them in which they can shout, drink, and laugh with their peers! There may be some fighting as well; you are a Warrior after all!
 
During the Swordring celebrations, Warriors will be able to exchange their precious special holiday coins for amazing rewards:
 

Ceremonial Warrior’s Helmet: Warriors need to keep their heads protected! Can be sold or traded to other players.
 

Ceremonial Warrior’s Armor: Its impressive appearance inspires respect! Can be sold or traded to other players.
 

Rapid Growth Potion: Do you envy the powerful and musculature? A mouthful of this potion and you are as big as a troll! Can be sold or traded to other players.
 

Who’s tiny now!
If you aren’t a Warrior yourself, don’t look at your comrades with envy as the special items sold by the vendors of the Holiday Committee can be exchanged between characters or sold at the Auction House!
 
This means that you also can dress up as a Warrior to celebrate their holiday!
